You can create a work order while on the phone and leave it open if they have to call back. When they do, anyone who picks up can easily find the ticket, and close it out or keep working on it. Parts can be looked up from within the system, and it will show if they are on hand or need to be sourced. Add them to the order before it is closed, and once it is the order will go out automatically to get the parts coming as quickly as possible.
